Meet the great people who put community in to Community Speech Services!

Sara Wolosiansky M.A., CCC-SLP Owner

Sara is a graduate of The University of Cincinnati and had many years of experience prior to opening her own private practice. Sara has owned Community Speech Services (CSS) for the past 20 years and has been successful at serving this community in many ways. She and her husband, Walt (audiologist) pride themselves on the "open door" policy here at CSS. She and her husband reside in Green and have 3 grown children and love their beautiful dog! If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to speak with Sara and she will be happy to assist you!

Jill L. Speech Language Pathologist

With over 20 years experience, Jill has a special interest in working with the preschool and school age populations. She enjoys working with phonological/articulation and language disorders. Jill also works with students who have autism, aspergers, and ADHD to improve their social skills and executive functioning. She has a family with 2 daughters and loves to watch them in track & field and dance.

DeAnn B. Speech Language Pathologist

With over 20 years experience, DeAnn possesses expertise in working Alternative and Augmentative Communication and adults and pediatrics with developmental disabilities. She also truly enjoys working with adults who have dysphagia and children with articulation and language needs. DeAnn lives with her husband, 2 daughters, a cat, and her sweet golden retriever. In her spare time she is a volleyball/soccer/girl scout leader mom who loves reading and camping.

Janeace M. Speech Language Pathologist

With 10 plus years experience, Janeace truly enjoys working with both children and adults, especially the preschool population with receptive and expressive language delays! She has a special interest in treating dysphagia, performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies, and is Vital Stim Certified. She loves working with neurological disorders such as Parkinsons, Multiple Sclerosis, and Brain Injury. Janeace is married, has two sons, and enjoys relaxing with her family and spending time outside. Janeace received her B.A. and M.A. both from The University of Akron from the School of Speech-Language Pathology. Janeace has worked in a variety of settings for the past 13 years, such as preschools, elementary schools, high schools, outpatient clinics, hospitals, preschool learning centers, and inpatient rehabilitation facilities. While Janeace enjoys all aspects of her career as a SLP, she has special interest in language and articulation disorders in the school age population and swallowing and cognitive disorders in the adult population, performing swallow studies in the hospital setting. Janeace is married, has three children and is expecting twins.

Jacqueline W. Speech Language Pathologist

Jacqueline graduated with a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology from University of Maryland. Jacqueline loves working with both adults and pediatrics with a variety of communication and swallowing disorders. She is trained in VitalStim, MBSiMP, and pending FEES certification. She is married with two girls and a cat. Jacqueline is a Buckeye at heart, loves any type of exercise, and being outside.

Kara C. Speech Language Pathologist

Kara graduated with her Master's degree in Speech- Language Pathology from The University of Akron. She has experience working in a variety of settings including hospitals, home health, preschools, and outpatient settings with young children through geriatrics. Kara loves providing early intervention to toddlers with delayed language skills, working with school aged children with articulation and language delays, and enjoys working with adults with voice disorders. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Dan, and they have one son, Jack, and a dog, Leo. Kara enjoys singing in her church's worship team, backpacking, and hiking.

Alyssa M. Speech Language Pathologist

Alyssa graduated with a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Toledo. She enjoys working with a wide range of individuals, including those from toddler to geriatric populations. Alyssa has a passion for communication and particular interest in working with individuals with delayed or acquired language disorders and fluency disorders. She also has an interest in improving the abilities of individuals with dysphagia. Alyssa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring new cities, and taking walks in her free time.

Rachel J. Speech Language Pathologist

Rachel graduated with a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Akron. Rachel truly loves helping children and their families to achieve their goals, in order to experience more functional communication at home and school. Rachel really enjoys working with children with articulation and phonology disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, and pragmatic language disorders. Rachel loves living in Akron, OH with her husband, where they go hiking, paddle boarding, and play many board games!

Janelle D. Speech Language Pathologist

Janelle graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a MA Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Her areas of special interest and expertise are with adult swallowing disorders and neurogenic communication disorders. She is trained in completing and interpreting MBSS using the MBSImP protocol, trained on trachs and PMSVs, attended a FEES training course, and is MDTP certified. She is also experienced in the evaluation and treatment of children with speech and language disorders. Janelle currently provides services in acute care, LTACH, inpatient rehab, SNF/ECF, and outpatient office settings. She is married and enjoys reading, attending Ohio sporting events, and home improvement projects.

Tori B. Speech Language Pathologist

Tori is a graduate from The University of Akron in Speech-Language Pathology. She enjoys working with both pediatrics and adult populations with a variety of communication and swallowing disorders. Tori is married and has two dogs and four cats. She loves working in her garden, playing her musical instruments and spending quality time with her family.

Kristen K. Speech Language Pathologist

Kristen graduated with her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Kent State University. She has experience with school age populations and enjoys working with adults with acquired speech and language disorders. Kristen loves working with children with expressive and receptive language disorders and creating fun and interesting activities to teach language through experiential learning. During her free time, Kristen likes trying out new recipes and cooking techniques, reading in the shade and spending time with her husband and pets.

Danielle R. Speech Language Pathologist

Danielle received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Kent State University. She is also VitalStim certified. Danielle is passionate about helping individuals across the lifespan achieve their communication and swallowing goals. She is soon-to-be married, loves cheering on her hometown Pittsburgh sports teams, and enjoys traveling.

Katie P. Speech Language Pathologist

Katie graduated with her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Akron. She enjoys working with a wide range of individuals. Katie speaks Spanish and loves working with English Language Learners. In her free time, Katie is very involved with her local church and faith plays a very important role in her life.

Krystin T. Speech Language Pathologist

Krystin graduated with a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toledo. She enjoys working with a variety of children with a range of communication disorders. She especially enjoys working with children with developmental disabilities, articulation disorders, and expressive and receptive language disorders. In her free time, Krystin enjoys swimming, hiking, water skiing, and boating with friends and family.

Megan K. Speech Language Pathologist

Megan graduated with her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Alabama. Megan enjoys working with all populations from pediatrics to geriatrics. She has specific interests in working with children who have expressive and receptive language disorders and AAC devices. She also enjoys treating adults with dysphagia and communication impairments in the acute care setting. Megan loves to be surrounded by friends and family, and is always ready to experience new restaurants and events! When she’s not out and about, you can usually find her cuddled up with her pets, Zoey and Pepper.

Melanie U. Speech Language Pathologist

Melanie has many years of experience and expertise! Melanie has worked with the pediatric population from birth-21 in a variety of settings in our facility, hospitals and private, public, and charter schools. She has worked with adults with swallowing problems, and speech and language needs as an outpatient and inpatient settings. Melanie is married and has 3 children. Her children keep her busy with their sport schedules and activities. In her free time, she enjoys reading, walking, and riding her bike with her family.

Koreen L. Speech Language Pathologist

Koreen has experience working with a wide variety of children and adults with a range of communication disabilities. She truly enjoys working with challenging children who have fluency/stuttering disorders, articulation & phonological delays, and late talking toddlers. Koreen is married, has a son named Levi, a dog named Bentley, and loves any form of exercising whether it be running, biking, yoga, or zumba/Latin mix.

Kris T. Speech Language Pathologist

With 17 years of experience, Kris excels in helping clients find the most appropriate augmentative communication device and has a special interest in working with adults with Developmental Disabilities. Kris also has many years of experience treating adults with dysphagia and various types of neurogenic disorders. Kris is married, has two children and loves playing tennis in her free time.

Lesli R. Speech Language Pathologist

Lesli Has 18 years of experience and specializes in working with adults with dysphagia and various kinds of neurological disorders. Lesli has performed many Modified Barium Swallow Studies in the acute Care Setting and truly loves helping her patients achieve their goals. Lesli is married and has two children. Lesli enjoys reading and loves to go for a nice long run!

Carolyn C. Speech Language Pathologist

Carolyn has 18 years experience and enjoys working with adult neurology, adult swallowing, and AAC. She has experience in acute, rehab, outpatient settings as well as home health and extended care facilities. Her specialties include modifed barium swallows as well as trachs and vents. Carolyn is married with 2 daughters and she enjoys walking, reading, boating, and water sking.

Jaimie Lichlyter Office Manager

Jaimie loves the families and the clients here at Community Speech Services! She has worked here for three years. Jaimie is very knowledgeable about insurances. She is able to help you with any questions you may have to help this process become a wonderful experience! She is the proud mother to her son, Ian, as well as her two loving dogs.

Sarah Owensby Office Manager

Sarah is excited & loves being part of the Community Speech & Hearing Team! Sarah has been part of our team for 5 years now. Sarah graduated from Jackson High School in 2002 where she completed and received her certificate in; Cooperative Business Training. She has many years experience in medical management & in the medical office setting. She is more then willing and can help you with all of your insurance questions/concerns, billing questions, & scheduling needs. She is the proud mother of two beautiful, outgoing daughters Kayla & Zoe. When Sarah is not working, she loves spending time with her family and friends & traveling.
